"No online news sources are entirely trustworthy"

I agree with this statement to a significant extent due to factors such as the media producing/ distributing fake news; bias opinions and having the aim of generating the most views/reads. The media are known to generate fake news, which is exactly how it sounds, news that is untruthful or made up completely. Fake news can especially be spotted in online news sources as well as digital media as it is easy to generate a fake story and publish it online compared to print texts. Often people publish fake news with the intention of generating as many views in order to develop a larger platform or to make more money. Not all fake news is necessarily made up but some can be inaccurate or exaggerated - for example journalist or bloggers may not check all of the facts before publishing a story and also may exaggerate the story from their perspective. This leads on to the idea of bias in the media making news not entirely trustworthy. Bias news is often one sided, an example being extreme right wing or extreme left wing, which will often glorify the side they support and shun the opposition.
