How does this advert persuade the audience to buy the product?
This 7-Up advert persuades the audience to buy the product as it features characters on the front who look happy whilst drinking 7-Up - this gives the audience the impression that the product is contributing to the smile on both of the people's faces. This advert is also persuasive as it uses the emotional appeal of a 'quick, refreshing lift' when 'problems begin to pile up' which is a positive appeal to consumers.

How does this advert persuade the audience to join the Women's Army Corps?
This advert persuades the audience to join the Women's Army Corps as it uses emotional appeal using the question 'Are you a girl with a Star-Spangled heart?' - this directly addresses audiences which draws their draws more attention to the advert and what it's about, audiences would be more inclined to see what the advertisement is about. It is also persuasive as it uses the repetition of the 'WAC' on the print which makes the name stick in a consumer's head or makes them have a higher chance of remembering it.
